Claire Lindberg

Claire teaches Hatha and prenatal yoga with a focus on yoga as a means of achieving better health and reducing stress. She has completed 500 hours of teacher training and is certified by the Yoga Alliance.
Claire has been practicing yoga since 2000. Initially, she was interested in yoga as a way to address personal health issues. As she deepened her practice, Claire not only found relief from her joint pain, she became calmer and more emotionally centered.
Claire has always been interested in the mind-body connection and the influence this has on health and illness. For many years, she has incorporated mindfulness practices such as imagery and guided relaxation into her nursing practice. Once she began practicing yoga, Claire realized that yoga afforded an additional way to promote physical and mental health and well-being in others.
In addition to teaching yoga, Claire has her doctorate in nursing and teaches nursing. She also maintains an active practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
