About Nicole Carlo, Yogini

Nicole began practicing yoga in 2005 in an attempt to relax. As a result of a high stress job and a type A personality, Nicole couldn't sit still for any period of time and found she was constantly sick. Nicole still remembers the urge she had to just get up and run the first time she sat on her mat.

Today, Nicole takes her mat with her everywhere. "Downward dog is like coming home for me." Her practice has centered her emotionally, physically and professionally. After seeing how profound her transformation was from her practice, Nicole sought to extend that same wisdom to others who are just like her. She has dedicated herself to paying it forward and enjoys guiding her students on their own personal transformations. Her motto is if she can do it, anyone can.

Nicole has completed her 200 hour teacher training in Hatha and is currently completing her 500 hour teacher training with her mentor, Tracey Ulshafer at One Yoga Center. A compassionate teacher, she teaches Gentle and Hatha. Nicole's classes are always a journey through self-exploration.

Off the mat, Nicole works as a full time attorney. She spends the rest of her time with her husband and their two little girls.
