Couples/Partner Yoga
Spend the evening with your sweetheart or dearest friend learning partner asanas and techniques that you’ll be able to take home with you and enjoy for many nights to come. A great way to connect — or reconnect!

Healing the Chakras
The word Chakra literally means wheel or disk. Yoga philosophy teaches that in the body these seven energy wheels are stacked in a column spanning from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The activities in the various Chakras influence our glandular processes, body shape, chronic physical ailments, thoughts, and behavior. The processes of yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation can influence these Charkas, our health, and our lives. This class is designed to introduce the Chakras and each of their attributes & developmental stages. We will discover deficiencies & excesses in our own Chakra system and learn healing strategies. We will complete the course with a full Chakra balance. Wear comfortable clothing as some Yoga asanas (poses) and other fun activities will accompany each Chakra. Class time will be divided between discussions & Yoga practices.

Yoga Intensive
Our popular 3-hour workshops are just about 2 1/2 hours of actual asana practice! Each workshop evolves around its own “theme” where we explore a certain movement, yoga philosophy or aspect of personal development through yoga asanas. This allows the student to move deeper into his/her practice with a greater awareness than ever before. Are you ready to take the next step in your yoga practice? Then what are you waiting for! Bring a towel. Water & light snack will be supplied. Not for true beginners. Intermediate level on up.

Moon Salutation Workshop
Lesser known that the Sun Salutation, the Moon Salutation or Chandra Namaskar is known for its feminine, circular movements that emphasize hip opening. In this class we’ll explore three different Moon Salutations in a slow-paced class, eventually moving into deeper hip openers. 

Woman’s Circle
Circles are a great way to share what’s happening in your life with women who are dealing with the same issues. In this Native American Indian ritual of the talking stick, we each have an opportunity to speak – about our joys, our triumphs, and our sorrows – whatever needs to be said. Afterwards we break bread, dance and talk. Bring a candle and snack or dish to share.

Restorative Yoga
Savor the deep relaxation of restorative postures in our special one-day yoga class.
With the use of pillows, blankets and other props, restorative yoga allows the body to relax into a pose for several minutes for a deep, lasting affect on the body. The more fully your body is supported, the deeper your sense of relaxation & surrender will be. Any level yogi could and should attend this class – it is not just for beginners. Even the most advanced yoga practice can benefit from letting go this deeply.

Healthy Living Workshop
Do you struggle with Yo-Yo Dieting? Are you unclear how to eat well? Do you understand basic nutrition? Then we have the workshop for you! A day of techniques that will help you on your path to not just losing weight, but eating well and living a healthy lifestyle. Program includes:

      EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) for Weight Loss with Faye

Yin-Yang Yoga
All of Hatha Yoga has a Yin-Yang energy – the balancing of opposing forces. You cannot have up without down, just as you cannot have a forward bend without a backbend. The Yin portion of the workshop has a relaxing and restorative quality with a focus on breath and releasing into poses while the Yang practice focuses on stamina and dynamic energy through sun salutations. There will be a 15 minute break to refuel with snacks. A perfect way to balance your inner and outer self! Duration: 3 hours.

5 Tibetan Rights
The Rites of the Five Tibetans , when practiced regularly help balance the energy in the body, while bringing increased prana (flow of energy) to the mind, body and spirit. This practice will focus on the benefits to the various energy points (chakras) as well as strengthening the core muscles. The workshop will focus on teaching the technique of each Tibetan as well as how to integrate in to your home practice. The 5 Tibetan Rights are easily learned and can be practiced at your own pace by themselves or included in your yoga practice.

Anatomy for Yoga
Are you confused with verbal directions like “contract your quadricep muscles” or “drop your scapula down your back?” In our Anatomy for Yoga workshops we’ll discuss in detail the human frame (skeleton) and the muscles of the lower and upper body and how they apply to our popular yoga asanas.  If you’ve never had a human anatomy class, this workshop is a must!

Yoga Dance
Like to dance? Love Yoga? Well, let’s put them both together in this fun workshop where we dance our way through the chakra system to both contemporary artists and our favorite yoga music. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to sweat!

Mantra Yoga Workshop
Mantra is sacred sound. When we chant OM in class, we are using the most sacred Mantra of all – the primordial sound that created the entire universe! If you like to sing and chant, this workshop will introduce or revisit your favorite yoga mantras.

Past Life Workshop
Are you interested in reincarnation? Do you have a connection to a place that you’ve never been to or a culture that you’ve never met? Join us and explore the concepts of reincarnation as well as be guided through a group past life regression.

Inversion Workshop
Don’t like to flip your world upside down? With the proper alignment principles in place and a good teacher to guide you, you’ll feel more comfortable inverting. Join us and explore the basic alignment for inversions as well as several different asanas.

Backbend Workshop
In our world today, more people have back issues than not. Our bodies are restricted from their natural mobility to move back and forth, side to side, and to twist because of the repetitive strains we put on them. Join us in this workshop to open up your spine to the suppleness it deserves!

Pranayama Workshop
Breathe is life force energy. Without it, we cannot survive. Yet through everyday stresses we constrict our breath and thus restrict this life force energy. In this workshop we will work to deepen your breathing capacity as we work through several different breathing exercises.

EFT Workshop
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is based on a new discovery that has provided thousands with relief from pain, diseases and emotional issues. Simply stated, it is an emotional version of acupuncture except needles aren't necessary. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process is easy to memorize and is portable so you can do it anywhere.
      1. Counteract negative energy disruptions in your system
      2. Remove/release pain
      3. Learn a new tool that can be helpful in all areas of your life.

Basic adult/child CPR (Cardio-Pulminary Resuscitation) class
This 3 hour class also includes an introduction on how to use the defibrillator and the Heimlich maneuver as well. Participants will receive a Certificate upon completion. Cost $75 + cost of book (if student would like to purchase own copy).
